The Prophet ﷺ said: 'Whoever introduces something into this affair of ours that is not from it will have it rejected.' (Bukhari, Muslim) Worship is taken only from the Qur'an and Sunnah — not invented.

Celebrating the Prophet's ﷺ birthday (mawlid), congregational dhikr in specific formulas, building over graves, specific 40-day mourning rituals.
