The meal eaten before Fajr to prepare for the day's fast. The Prophet ﷺ said: 'Eat suḥūr — for in suḥūr there is barakah.' (Bukhārī 1923, Muslim 1095)

From س-ح-ر (s-ḥ-r), referring to the last portion of the night before dawn.
Practical Application
Even a sip of water counts as suḥūr — never skip it for sleep, as the angels send blessings upon those who eat it.
