Cousin of the Prophet ﷺ and one of the great scholars of the Sahaba. Known as 'Tarjumān al-Qur'ān' (the Interpreter of the Qur'an) for his deep knowledge of tafseer. The Prophet ﷺ supplicated for him: 'O Allah, grant him understanding of the religion and teach him the interpretation.'
