Step by step
1) Say Bismillāh. 2) Wash hands three times. 3) Rinse mouth and nose three times. 4) Wash face three times. 5) Wash arms to elbows — right then left — three times. 6) Wipe head and ears once. 7) Wash feet to ankles — right then left — three times.
When does it break?
Going to the toilet, passing wind, deep sleep, eating camel meat. Once broken, repeat wuḍū' before prayer.
Du'ā' after wuḍū'
'Ash-hadu allā ilāha illa Allāh, waḥdahu lā sharīka lah, wa ash-hadu anna Muḥammadan ʿabduhu wa rasūluh.' The Prophet ﷺ said: 'Whoever says this after wuḍū', the eight gates of Paradise are opened for him.' (Muslim)
